Fagin’s Den — inspired by the infamous character from Oliver Twist — has been beautifully refurbished in authentic 19th-century style, offering a one-of-a-kind stay in the heart of Broadstairs.

Perfect for families, friends, and Dickens enthusiasts alike, this immersive retreat brings literature to life with period furnishings, curated memorabilia, antique-style décor, and thoughtful details that transport you back in time.

To make your stay even more memorable, costumes are provided so you can dress as characters from Oliver Twist and truly embrace the theme.

You can also take part in Fagin’s Hidden Stash — our optional treasure hunts, designed for both adults and children, adding a playful twist to your stay.

The cottage is set across four floors and offers:

Every piece of furniture and decoration has been carefully selected to reflect the Victorian era, with added photographs, maps and historical information connecting Charles Dickens to Broadstairs.

Important information

Please note that the cottage is arranged over four floors, connected by a steep spiral staircase. For this reason, it may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns.

Pets

Well-behaved furry companions are welcome.

A £25 pet fee applies per stay.
